Christmas Lunches

Two and three course Christmas Lunches will be served in the Terrace Bar from Saturday 1st to Monday 24th December.

Christmas Sunday Lunches

Meeting friends and family this festive season? Join us for a Christmas Sunday lunch on 2nd, 9th, 16th or 23rd December. With festive table decorations and music from our pianist, Helen, you can enjoy festive food without the washing up!

Our popular Christmas festive afternoon teas include all of your favourite festive treats and a glass of Prosecco. If you would prefer to have your Afternoon Tea with tea and coffee this is priced at £24 per person.

Christmas Private Dining

Whether you are looking for a venue for a family dinner for 10 or a corporate party of 200, the Events Team will happily discuss options with you for our private dining spaces.

The Squadron bar is perfect for parties of 8-16 people or the Garden Room is suitable for parties of 16-30 people. For larger numbers, please ask for details about the Petwood or Woodland Suites.

Group Bookings

Please note that on Christmas Eve the Drawing Room will be for residents’ use only from 11am.

Non-residents will be welcome to use the Terrace Bar and Squadron Bar (subject to availability) for seating and dining. Please see below for a full list of our Christmas opening times.

Deposits

Boxing Day lunch - £20 per person, final balance due 4 weeks prior.

New Year’s Eve - £50 per person for residents and non-residents. Final balance due 4 weeks prior.

Alcohol

Party organisers are requested to make all guests aware that the Petwood Hotel does not permit the consumption of alcohol on the premises which has not been purchased from the hotel. Alcohol brought onto the premises will be confiscated and the management reserves the right to enforce a corkage charge or ask some or all of the party to leave the event.

Christmas Public Opening Times

On Christmas Eve a limited bar menu will be in operation 12-2pm (last orders 2pm) and afternoon teas will be served 2.30-4pm in the Terrace Bar and Squadron Bar (subject to availability). The Drawing Room will be for residents’ use only after 11am on Christmas Eve. With the exception of guests booked in for Christmas Day lunch and Boxing Day lunch, the hotel will be closed to non-residents from 5pm Christmas Eve and will re-open from 9am Thursday 27th December.
