Following the statement from the Prime Minister this evening, it is with a very heavy heart that we must close the hotel to the public with immediate effect. This will mean our accommodation, restaurant, Terrace Bar and function facilities will be closed to all until further notice.
For any hotel residents staying with us this evening, we can offer the option of a takeaway or room service for breakfast Saturday morning if this is your preference. This will be our final element of on-premise service until we are advised further about being able to reopen. We are, however, delighted to be able to offer takeaway afternoon teas for home delivery or collection. In addition, to continue supporting our community, we are also offering a home delivery service of basic provisions. Details of these services are available here.
These are extraordinary circumstances in which we find ourselves but we must adhere to the advice of the Government, World Health Organisation and Public Health England to help prevent the further spread of the virus. As always, the safety and protection of our staff, guests and community remains paramount.
If you have a booking with us in the next four weeks, our Reservations and Events teams will be contacting you directly via telephone and email. Our telephones are expected to be very busy and so please help us by contacting us only via email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org with your enquiries and we will call you back.
We will continue to communicate using our website and social media channels and so please make sure you are following us.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our guests, suppliers, partners and community for the love, support and compassion shown to us over the last week. We really look forward to welcoming you back to the Petwood – your Lincolnshire home from home – in the very near future.
With my best wishes to you all to keep safe and well,
20 March 2020
