Chapterhouse Theatre Company is proud to present Oscar Wilde’s finest and best-loved romantic comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest.

With a cast of unforgettably larger than life characters, the delightful Cecily, the roguish Algernon and the formidable Lady Bracknell are sure to keep you wildly entertained! Picnic with friends and family and enjoy this exquisite new production of Wilde’s hilarious tale of doubles lives and mistaken identities presented in full period costume. Join us at some of the UK and Ireland’s most stunning open-air venues for a wonderful evening of theatre under the stars.

Please note: Don't forget that the great British weather can be unpredictable. Remember to bring a chair and an umbrella with you to the performance. 

You may bring a picnic with you to the event but we respectfully ask that no alcohol be brought onto the premises.

An outside bar will be available for those wishing to purchase drinks on the night. This will include hot and cold drinks, beer, cider and wine. You may also purchase drinks from the terrace bar in the hotel before the event and during the interval.
