Comfortable and homely, our classic rooms are decorated in a style that is sympathetic to the character of the building. All have the following as standard: en-suite bathroom with shower, hospitality tray, complimentary toiletries, television and radio, hairdryer.
Executive Double Room
Our executive rooms offer added luxury for guests looking for added comfort. Each room is unique, with one or more special features including garden views, king sized beds and additional seating areas with sofas.
All have the advantages of the classic rooms (hospitality tray, television and radio, hairdryer) as well as complimentary mineral water and upgraded toiletries from the exclusive Penhaligon's brand.
The four poster rooms at the Petwood add a wonderful extra decadence to any stay at the hotel. Boasting classic four poster beds and furnishings in keeping with the Edwardian era in which the hotel was built, these generously proportioned rooms offer spectacular views over the grounds.
While full of romance and historic ambience, these rooms also offer modern touches including flat screen LCD televisions and iPod docking stations. Guests who upgrade to these rooms also receive the use of robes and slippers, as well as mineral water and upgraded toiletries from the exclusive Penhaligon's brand.
The Weigall Suite, named after the founding family of the Petwood, offers two-storey accommodation with a comfortable sitting room overlooking the gardens. Set in the eaves, these quarters possess an extra touch of luxury.
Please note that this suite does not have a four poster bed.
